MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Medical Director is responsible for the administration, direction and co-ordination of the spectrum of clinical services of the Hospital. This responsibility also includes for the implementation and development of patient care and quality improvement programmes, identification of educational needs of staff through consultation with administrators of the clinical areas.
MINIMUM TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
- Specialized training as evidenced by a postgraduate medical qualification.
- Extensive experience as a Medical Practitioner.
- A minimum of eight (8) years’ experience in a supervisory/management position.
- Certification in management and administration.
- Registration with the Medical Board of Trinidad and Tobago.
- Any equivalent education and experience.
