1. Tender documents can be perused at the Central Purchasing Unit, De Freitas Building, Eastern Main Road, Sangre Grande and can be subsequently purchased for the non-refundable fee of $500.00 from Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Prospective tenderers can collect a Payment Voucher representing the respective non-refundable fee to be paid at First Citizens Bank only. Thereinafter, tenderers shall return with a stamped receipt at the bank, for collection of the tender documents.

3. Tenders must be accompanied by the following:

(i) Valid Income Tax and Value Added Tax Clearance Certificates issued by the Board of Inland Revenue and dated not more than six months prior to the closing date of tender.

(ii) A Valid Certificate of Compliance issued in accordance with the National Insurance Act.

4. One (1) original and six (6) copies of the Tender Documents shall be placed in sealed envelopes, addressed to:

and clearly marked on the outside: “NAME OF RESPECTIVE TENDER”

5. Sealed envelopes must be deposited in the Tender Box specially marked for the respective tender at the Central Purchasing Unit of the ERHA at the above address NO LATER THAN  1:00  p.m. on the respective closing dates indicated above. Tenderers will be required to sign a form indicating the date and time of deposit of the tender before the deposit of the  envelope into the Tender Box.

6. Tenderers should note that the dimensions of the SLOT in the Tender Box are approximately 127 mm x 406 mm (5 inches x 16 inches) and as such, tenders should be packaged                        accordingly. 

7. Tenders will be opened publicly on the same day at 2:00 p.m. at the ERHA Conference Centre, Picton Road, Sangre Grande. Tenderers or their representatives attending the Tender               Opening will be required to present either Company Identification Cards or a letter or authorization from the company, in order to show their legitimacy as the respective company                              representative(s).

8.  LATE tenders will not be considered under any circumstances. 

9.  The Tender Committee does not bind itself to accept the lowest or any tender.

10. The Authority reserves the right to cancel the present notice in its entirety or partially, without defraying any cost incurred by any firm in submitting their tender.

11. Failure to comply with any of these instructions may result in the tender not being considered.
